“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” Macolm X .
The world today is camouflaged with different outlook, vision and perspective to seek knowledge. We make our children physically and mentally strong so that step by step they seek and explore new horizons of expertise, intelligence, observation, wisdom and philosophy. We guide them to polish their mettle and talents by providing a congenial atmosphere to seek substance and awareness about this world and to be the best judge to seek their life’s goal!
Every child is different and has different potentialities. We do not believe in comparison- we believe in whetting and sharpening acumen of each and every child so that he/she brings laurels to their parents and to their alma mater. After years, when students look back, they should remember their alma mater fondly and feel nostalgic. Hence we believe in establishing a unique bonding with our students. A child, when is connected with his/her mentors can do wonders in life.
We do not see education as a ‘technical effort to seek knowledge’; we perceive ‘education as an earning which makes lives!’ For this, we at DSIS provide students a platform to quench their incessant thirst of knowledge. Being an author, columnist, painter and an educationist as well, I realize that with education, creative skills are equally important but the world will only come to know about your creativity, when your communication skill is whetted. So along with providing excellent platform for mathematics, science, different languages, computers, global politics, economy and happenings, we pay extreme attention to every child’s communication skills. Teachers are guided to identify introvert students and establish a ‘connect’ with them. Our brilliant faculty update the students about global happenings and keep the young minds ignited. Expression is the key to embark upon a successful career.
Today, children in India are growing in a more challenging and demanding environment. At DSIS, we believe in ‘catch them young’ phenomenon. We identify students with different skills and talents and prepare them for bigger events in life. Sometimes students may feel a little despondent when they miss a certain position. For them I want to say this that every heartbreak, every loss, contains its own seed, its own lesson on how to improve their performance the next time.
For us character building and value based education is very important. We prepare our children to shine on global platforms but with this we lead them to a life where values of Indian society play the key role. We thus give our children from their inception years, the best of both worlds!
We seek cooperation of parents and guardians to join hands with the alma mater of their wards and cement the relationship of trust and faith shown. This open and interactive approach helps in discovering and strengthening inherent qualities of our students. Parents are invited to approach us and establish a healthy lifelong association. Benjamin Franklin has rightly said, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest”.
